- Warsaw hosted an important meeting on the future of international police cooperation On 2-3 April 2025, Warsaw hosted one of the key meetings for the future of international police cooperation in the European Union. The Heads of Single Point of Contact (HoSPOC) from the EU member states as well as representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU, the European Commission, Europol, CEPOL and Interpol gathered at the National Stadium. The event was hosted by the Polish Police and delegations were welcomed by Colonel Ireneusz Sieńko, Director of the International Police Cooperation Bureau at the National Police Headquarters.
- Visit of the Commander-in-Chief to Europol The headquarters of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation in The Hague hosted the meeting of the Europol Management Board on 18-19 March 2025, with the participation of the Commander-in-Chief, General Marek Boron. This is one of the most important meetings during the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, emphasising the exceptional importance of Poland's role in coordinating EU security measures. The visit of the head of the Polish Police to Europol included a formal meeting of the Europol Management Board, numerous bilateral meetings, as well as events related to the publication of an important analytical report SOCTA and the promotion of the Polish Police and international cooperation.
- EU-SOCTA2025 The publication of the SOCTA 2025 Report (Serious and Organised Crime Threat Assessment) was officially launched today, 18 March 2025, during the Europol Management Board meeting.
- Presentation of the priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration and the Police at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome On 14 January 2025, a meeting of the liaison officers of the European Union countries accredited in Italy, representatives of FRONTEX, the European Commission Representation and the Italian security and public order services was held at the Polish Embassy in Rome, dedicated to the Polish Presidency of the EU Council. The Police Liaison Officer in Italy presented the priorities of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the activities of the Polish Police planned for the duration of the presidency
- Polish Presidency starts work in the Law Enforcement Working Group (LEWP) On 10 January 2025, the first meeting of the Law Enforcement Working Group (LEWP) took place under the chairmanship of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council. During the meeting, key threats to public safety and ways to combat them through international cooperation were discussed.
