Born on May 15, 1970 in Łódź. He is a graduate of the University of Lodz and the Police Academy in Szczytno. He started his police service in 1990 at the Łódź-Polesie District Police Headquarters. Afterwards he served in the Criminal Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Łódź. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the criminal division and the fight against organized crime. He held a number of executive and then managerial positions.
