Reporting on trafficking in human being
On July 30, we celebrate the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Particularly on this day, law enforcement agencies, including the Police, governmental and non-governmental organizations are striving to educate the general public about what human trafficking is and how we can protect ourselves against it.
The National Police Headquarters operates dedicated helpline and e-mail box available to everyone who has information about cases of human trafficking. By sending your e-mail to the address: handelludzmibsk@policja.gov.pl or by calling: +48 664 974 934, you can prevent human tragedies. Such a communication or phone call may save someone's life. Let's not be indifferent.
Report corruption
Counteracting and preventing corruption is one of the major tasks of the Police. Social expectations of this task are increasingly growing. This is shown above all by public opinion surveys covering the scale of the corruption phenomenon, its effects, possibilities of elimination or its evolving forms. For many years the results of these surveys have been invariably situating corruption as one of the most dangerous social pathologies in Poland.
In the fight against corruption, reports of crimes from, among others, persons who have handed over a financial or personal benefit play an important role.
It should be stressed here that individuals who have handed out a financial or personal benefit - under the so-called "prosecution exemption clause" - are not subject to criminal prosecution if the financial or personal benefit or their promise has been accepted by a person holding a public function and the perpetrator has notified the authority appointed to prosecute the crime and disclosed all relevant circumstances of the crime before the authority became aware of it.
PLEASE NOTE!!!!
The corrupting individual is not subject to criminal prosecution if the financial or personal benefit or their promise has been accepted by a person holding a public function and the perpetrator has notified the authority appointed to prosecute the crime and disclosed all relevant circumstances of the crime before the authority became aware of it.
You can report corruption to the Police in writing or in person by contacting the local anti-corruption departments of the Provincial Police Headquarters / Warsaw Metropolitan Police Headquarters, as well as any police unit, or by phone or e-mail.
