On 26 August 2021 Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Maj. Gen. Paweł Dobrodziej decorated two foreign Liaison Officers serving in Poland with Silver Medals for Meritorious Service to the Police. The honours were awarded to Mr. Olivier Ordas representing the French Police and Mr. Peter Juritka representing the Slovak Police.

On 28 July 2021 at the National Police Headquarters a ceremony was held to award the Medal for Meritorious Service to the Police to Fabien Guillaume Olivier Cosse, the Deputy Attaché for Internal Security at the French Embassy in Warsaw. His efforts have contributed to projects undertaken by the Polish and French police against organized crime and to strengthening bilateral police cooperation.

Georgia has now joined the group of countries where the Polish Police has established its mission of a Liaison Officer. On 15 June 2021, during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Police Major General Paweł Dobrodziej officially introduced Major Rafał Węgiel to this prestigious post.

On June 10, 2021 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Madrid hosted a truly unique event - the solemn celebration of the Polish Police Day, which was attended not only by Commander-in-Chief of the Police, General Jaroslaw Szymczyk, but also Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Madrid, Mrs. Marzenna Adamczyk, and a number of distinguished guests, including the Commanders of the Spanish Police Force.

During an on-line call on Monday (19.04.2021) via the teleconference system, Commander-in-Chief of Police General Jarosław Szymczyk and Secretary General of Interpol Jürgen Stock discussed major issues related to security and cooperation between the Polish Police and Interpol. In his tweet following the meeting, the Secretary General of Interpol described the conversation as a "very constructive" and acknowledged that Poland remains one of Interpol's key partners in the fight against organized international crime.

On September 21, 2020, the head of the Polish Police, general inspector Jarosław Szymczyk accepted representatives of the Republic of Indonesiaat the Police Headquarters. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss broadly understood security issues with the representatives of this island country.

"Exchange of experience" - is a sentence that appeared many times during the meeting in the National Police Headquarters held on August 5. Dr. Paloma Cuchi - Head of the World Health Organization Representation met with general Kamil Bracha - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Police, colonel Adam Frankowski, Doctor of Medical Science - Deputy Director of the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police (CLKP) and lieutenant colonel Magdalena Spólnicka, , M.D., Ph.D. - Head of the Biology Department of the CLKP. During the meeting, colonel Adam Frankowski presented a detailed procedure of genetic screening for SARS-CoV-2 among police officers and civil employees. Special procedures created and applied in the CLKP enable efficient and safe testing and they met with a very positive response from WHO

The International Police Cooperation Bureau of the NPHQs has the pleasure to launch a new English version of our police website, developed in cooperation with the Social Communication Bureau of the NPHQs. The idea behind this initiative was to provide non-Polish speaking people staying in or planning to visit our country with comprehensive and practical information related to the Polish Police, as well as handy and useful guidelines for everyday use.

On 22 July 2020, at the National Police Headquarters, the ceremony was held during which the Medal of Merit for Police was awarded to Mr. Tor Espen Haga, Nordic Liaison Officer at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Warsaw. Mr. Haga has been involved in the development of relations between the Polish Police and the law enforcement agencies of Scandinavian countries. The cooperation resulted in successful operations undertaken by law enforcement agencies against various forms of organised crime.

July is a special month for police officers. In July we celebrate the Police Day. One of the highlights of the annual Police Day celebrations is the ceremony held in front of the Memorial Wall commemorating the fallen Police Officers. For the entire organization, these are extremely emotional moments, since this is how the officers pay tribute to those who, while protecting the life and health of citizens, died in the line of duty. On 1st July 2020, the National Police Headquarters hosted a ceremony of awarding the Bronze Medal of Merit for the Police to Mr. Jason Schumacher, head of the DEA Poland at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw. Mr. Schumacher contributed greatly to the development of partnership relations with the Polish Police, thus facilitating its success in the fight against organized drug crime.

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Police general Kamil Bracha and Deputy Commander of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police colonel Piotr Stasiak paid an official visited the DEA Headquarters in the USA. Polish delegates had an opportunity to learn about the most recent methods of combating drug crime and take a close look at agents' daily activities
