The International Police Cooperation Bureau of NPHQ (BMWP KGP) assisted in providing medical care to a Ukrainian citizen in Germany.
A police officer serving in the International Police Cooperation Bureau of the National Police Headquarters helped save the life of a truck driver in Germany.
On the evening of 23 March, police officer (dispatcher) - while on duty at BMWP KGP - received a phone call from the operator of the Emergency Notification Centre. The information indicated that a Ukrainian citizen, currently residing in Germany, working for a Polish transport company as a lorry driver, is suffering from stroke symptoms. According to the information provided, he had lost feeling in his left arm and left leg. BMWP KGP operator, after obtaining the necessary information, such as the location, make and registration number of the vehicle, immediately forwarded it to the foreign partner.In response, the German side sent information that after finding the vehicle, the German services had to break the window of the vehicle to get inside and help the man due to the condition of the injured person. Then, according to the information obtained, the injured person was taken to a hospital in Ansbach.
