Visit of representatives of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Moldova to the National Police Headquarters - Events - About Polish Police

On 27th-29th November 2019, representatives of the Moldovan Ministry of the Interior paid an official visit to Poland. One of the points on the agenda was a meeting at the National Police Headquarters with Deputy Commander-in-Chief general Kamil Bracha, heads of selected organisational units of the Police and Bureaus of the National Police Headquarters.

During a meeting organised at the National Police Headquarters, on the initiative of the Moldovan party, a number of important issues related to broadly understood internal security and international cooperation were discussed. The discussion was preceded by a presentation prepared by the Polish party, which constituted a meaningful response to the issues interesting for the delegates.

During the meeting, the delegates discussed issues concerning, among other things, training cooperation, police education system in Poland, professional development in the field of police kynology, the National Security Threat Map, the role of the constable (beat officer) in the Polish Police system, good practices in the field of police negotiations and the search and rescue capacities of the Police.

Secretary of State, Mr. Gheroghe Balan, pointed out that the Polish Police is an important partner for Moldova in the area of supporting the reform of the police education system in the country. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Police general  Kamil Bracha stressed the importance and relevance of international bilateral meetings, which are aimed at strengthening cooperation, exchange of experience and best police practices.
